Jim Rezac: Now at Muckey Landing!

We here at Muckey Landing couldn’t be more pleased to announce that singer/songwriter Jim Rezac is on board as our house music director! Jim’s music brand is Americana, personal, and original, and the first time we heard him perform, we felt he couldn’t be a better fit for our podcast. Go listen to him perform his original composition An American Song and tell us we’re wrong — nope, you can’t.

We sat down with Jim for a meet-and-greet last winter to feel him out about whether he’d be interested in working with us on this project — he was, and in short order, he sent us a piece to consider as a theme song. It totally worked, and we knew we’d found our guy.

If you’re not familiar with Jim and his work, check out his website and see where he’s performing, and definitely make it a point to see him perform live. And listen for Jim and his work on Muckey Landing – a sort of a podcast, coming later this year to wherever you listen to podcasts!

Wanna Sound Off With Us?

Wanna Sound Off With Us?

We know we’re a little off – we’re quite proud of it, actually — and we’re looking for someone who will fit in with our particular brand of nuttiness to run sound during live performances. Mike and Bruce both know sound, and Mike will probably take care of most if not all sound in post, but they’re gonna be busy stinkin’ up the joint acting and stuff during live performances. They can’t do it all, people. Chris is, of course, clueless, and half-deaf to boot, so she’s no help. So that leaves you, Sound Guy or Gal. Get in touch. You know you wanna.

BTW, that is NOT our mixer board. That board belongs to some pub in England that some dude took a picture of and posted on Wiki Media, which is where we stole it from. Take this as our half-assed attempt to credit this fine work of art to No machine-readable author provided.Biggerbyfar~commonswiki assumed (based on copyright claims)” under CC BY-SA 2.5.
